rAbout This Role:

The Talent Acquisition Manager leads and oversees the administration of day-to-day operations of the Talent team and provides direction and communication to support departments and colleges at K-State. Responsibilities include supervision and development of the talent acquisition team, managing various talent projects, administering K-State's applicant tracking system, and providing oversight of the full recruitment lifecycle at K-State.



The manager will be an active leader and collaborate with partners across the University to advance diversity, inclusion, and belonging as K-State recruits a more diverse and highly talented workforce.



The Talent Acquisition Manager:





+ Develops and maintains talent policies, initiatives, processes, and procedures that align with university goals and the specific needs of the university as it relates to talent acquisition.



+ Serves as a senior talent acquisition strategic partner to executive and academic units.



+ Establishes talent metrics to monitor goals that aid in the development and maintenance of an overall university talent management strategy.



+ Recommends and implements process and workflow improvements.



+ Provides strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:





+ A bachelor's degree (This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by the hiring manager.)



+ Three to five years of relevant experience which includes supervising and leading others.





Preferred Qualifications:< strong>





+ Experience in recruitment for multiple positions in various disciplines and locations.



+ Experience managing full recruitment life cycle.



+ Experience utilizing social media to recruit highly qualified, and diverse talent.



+ Experience using applicant tracking software.



+ Ability to initiate and maintain professional relationships with diverse groups and individuals.



+ Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, to work collaboratively, and to garner the trust of others.



+ Ability to handle confidential information.



+ Ability to promote the institution's mission and vision.



+ Possess knowledge of employment-related laws and recruitment best practices.



+ PHR/SPHR Certification.



+ SHRM-CP/SCP Certification.



+ Experience in higher education.



+ Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration or related field.
