r*About This Role*
The Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities (KCCTO) team, within the College of Health and Human Sciences, is looking to hire a Workforce Systems Administrator to join their team. This position will work on a statewide professional development program in the area of childcare and education, focusing on individuals and programs serving birth to 13 years. This position will coordinate daily activities related to the development, launch and maintenance of the early childhood workforce registry for Kansas, Cape, which will provide comprehensive data about the needs of the early childhood workforce.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
- Implementation and management of statewide training and trainer
approval systems, to include:
- Facilitation of and participation in the review of applications
- Verification of trainer requirements
- Using review data to determine approvals
- Communication with training organizations, developers, and independent trainers regarding approval status
- Provide oversight of day-to-day operations, including customer service, implementation of policies and procedures, and prioritization of daily goals and objectives
- Analyze and synthesize data to determine program needs and develop strategies to address those needs
- Identify areas for system improvement and support the development of solutions and related initiatives
- Communicate and coordinate with supporting partners regarding system updates and provide logistical support around adopting and using the workforce registry

Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities, Inc. (KCCTO) is a state-wide training office dedicated to providing quality, accessible, professional development opportunities to family childcare providers, childcare center staff, and other early education professionals throughout Kansas. KCCTO is a sponsored project of Kansas State University and the College of Health and Human Sciences. The mission of KCCTO is to ensure high-quality early education and care through professional development and support for those who work with and on behalf of young children. KCCTO is the current contracted agency by the Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) for the Infant-Toddler Specialist Network, the Early Childhood Workforce Professional Development Program, and the workforce registry, Cape.
Cape, Kansas\' early childhood workforce registry, is a web-based portal that empowers early childhood professionals, recognizes their contributions, and elevates the importance of their role within our state\'s economy. Through Cape, early childhood professionals, facilities, and training organizations experience streamlined access to training, resources, and planning tools. Cape will improve offerings, inform policy, and guide investments for the early childhood workforce by gathering insights from aggregated data.
The College of Health and Human Sciences is home to six academic departments (Applied Human Sciences; Food, Nutrition, Dietetics & Health; Hospitality Management; Interior Design & Fashion Studies; Personal Financial Planning; and Kinesiology), the Center on Aging, Physician Assistant program, and a Nursing partnership with Wichita State University. *Worksite Option*
This position is eligible for a hybrid, remote, and/or on-campus worksite. Work may be performed on employer premises, designated assignment location, and/or performed fully in a remote capacity. In-state travel will be required along with possible out-of-state travel related to attendance at educational events for personal skill and professional development.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor\'s degree
- One year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master\'s degree in early childhood education or related field
Three years of successful and relevant project management experience
Experience in the early childhood workforce
