ManpowerGroup Grind Operator 2nd & 3rd Shifts in McPherson, Kansas
Schedule: 2nd 4p-12a, 3rd 12a-8a. Must train in the morning 8a-4:30p.
Inspect a wide variety of commercial and manufactured parts for compliance with engineering specifications and company standards
Verify correct product using job traveler
Use inspection methodology and record all results
Interpret complex drawings, process sheets, and company standards
Work with quality and management departments for any manufacturing issues/defects
Monitor machine performance and perform preventative maintenance to assure continuity of production
Read part drawing with sectional views
Maintain plant standards in areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, 5S, housekeeping, teamwork and attendance
Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications:
· 1-3+ years of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Standard precision measuring tools
Preferred Qualifications:
· Dependable, honest, quick learner, effective communication skills and team player
· Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met
· High school diploma or GED
