Job Title: Process Technician - Assembly

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Process Technician for our Assembly Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring assembly machines are operating at peak levels of quality and efficiency, maintaining all necessary documentation, and driving improvements in the production processes. This role requires proactive leadership through training, motivating, and developing team members. You will also be responsible for setting up machines in compliance with Production Planning, monitoring production data, implementing tool changes, and assisting with root cause analysis pertaining to equipment malfunctions. Additionally, you will perform basic preventative maintenance on equipment, formally communicate production information, drive continuous improvements, and ensure company policies and guidelines are being followed.

Hard Skills

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Knowledge of CAQ

  • Ability to operate all machines and equipment for manual assembly process

  • Mechanical Inclination

  • HMI Experience

  • Troubleshooting

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Mcpherson, Kansas.

Work Environment

  • Work in a fast-paced, production-related environment producing over 1 million parts per month. Enjoy a climate-controlled, clean, and well-lit workspace. This position may require you to work different shifts, travel, and wear assorted types of PPE. A High School Diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment are required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
