Job Title: Production Supervisor
Job Description
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of all production employees on assigned shift; ensuring production goals are met; reviewing and interpreting production orders, schedules, and back order reports and prioritizing work accordingly; maintaining record keeping and reports; monitoring inventory levels; and ensuring quality products are being made according to specifications.
Hard Skills
Knowledge of computer software such as SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to troubleshoot equipment
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics
Ability to operate manufacturing machines
Soft Skills
Strong leadership and managerial skills
Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions
Effective communication both verbally and in writing
Ability to perform repetitive functions
Superior service and positive attitude
Job Type
This is a permanent position.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Mcpherson, Kansas.
Work Environment
High School diploma or equivalent with 6-7 years of related work experience. The candidate will lead anywhere from 25-30 employees on their shift for weekend shifts.
Hours are: F & M, 11 pm – 7:30 am AND Sat & Sun, 7 pm – 7 am
Pay range: $29-$35 an hour + $3.50 shift diff when working Weekend PM shift
Will train on Weekend AM shift
