This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For more information, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/ada/r/jobs/11305536 JOB DESCRIPTION Position SummaryThe Human Resource Coordinator is responsible for managing all administrative human resource functions for the GardaWorld Security Services branch team.Job Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: -Answer branch phone calls, greet guests, and provide positive interaction to walk-in applicants.-Support associates, operations leaders and Human Resources Team with routine, day-to-day HR questions, emails, and other inquiries.-Ensure all new hires are accurately processed on time, issued uniforms, name badges, and enrolled in appropriate benefit plans during orientation and open enrollment.-Ensure employee files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.-Manage and/or coordinate Employee Referral process, Worker's Compensation, and Safety programs.-Ensure compliance with officer licensing, drivers, training, HR compliance posters.-Work with branch staff to schedule new-employee orientations and site training.-Manage uniforms; maintain inventory, place orders, review invoices, schedule restocking.-Order and administer drug screens and background checks for prospective new hires.-Review training hours reports for accuracy prior to payroll processing.-Move candidates into WinTeam, the HR system; complete all necessary maintenance post-hire.-Build and maintain branch employment records and reports, to include following GardaWorld record retention policies; I-9s, W-4s, direct deposit elections/paycards.-Process terminations and respond to unemployment claims.-Maintain WinTeam data integrity, including all employee status changes.-Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion.-Provide back-up to the HR Coordinator.-Perform other related duties as required and assigned.QUALIFICATIONS -High School Diploma (Required); Associates or Bachelor's degree in human resources management, or a related field of study (Preferred)-Minimum 2 years' experience in a fast-paced, ever-changing human resources environment.-Positive and energetic with a can-do attitude.-Excellent interpersonal skills, a proven history of effective relationship building, and the ability to work well with all levels within the organization.-Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.-Tech- savvy experience a must!-Experience working with databases and Microsoft Office Suites.-Ability to multi-task is essential and outside the box thinking is a plus!-Excellent judgment, problem solving skills, and decision making.-Willing to work in a team environment, adapt to the changing needs of the branch-Must be at least 21 years of age or older as required by applicable law or contractual requirements-Legally authorized to work in the United States
