We need seasonal help with our winter calving season. Raising newborn calves and cattle. Duties will be assisting with birth deliveries, watering, castrating, weighing, catching and loading animals. Doing record keeping, administering medications, giving vaccinations or insecticides as appropriate. Doing daily duties as well as cleaning and maintaining animal housing areas. Will operate tractors and equipment to assist in feeding of cattle.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Experienced in operating tractors, skit steer and other farm equipment, and must have a regular drivers\' license.
Family housing not available. Housing will be clean & meet applicable Fed, State and local Housing Standards. Workers must maintain neat & clean housing. Reasonable repair cost of damage, other than normal wear and tear will be deducted from the earnings. Housing/utilities are provided at no cost to workers who are unable to return to their place of residence the same day. If both male & female workers are hired: separate toilet, bathing and sleeping rooms will be provided
