About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant
In this role, you will:
On the Thematic Risk Team you will play an integral role in leading and driving the analysis and solutions for the Company’s top and emerging risks. This team is accountable for identifying both thematic trends and emerging risk areas – a priority area of Strategic Enterprise Risk Management (SERM) and Wells Fargo. These topics will cover a variety of risk topics spanning non-financial and financial risk. You will work and collaborate with business leaders, function leaders and risk leaders to lead data-driven analysis on these thematic risk areas.
Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives, and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management
Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions
Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational
Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans
Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership
Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise
Be accountable for managing large sets of change initiatives that are most complex and typically include multiple systems, crosses multiple lines of business and has process/procedural components to them
Informs and influence sponsors and key stakeholders, senior, and executive leadership to promote success of change initiative, its performance and prioritization
Seek counsel of peers, stakeholders, change leaders and/or product leaders in times of strategically complex or critical ambiguity and adapts planning, communications, and engagements
Communicate frequently to the project team, sponsor, portfolio sponsor, portfolio leader, product leader and stakeholders while maintaining cooperative, motivated, and successful teams
Assist managers with coaching and developing junior level team members
Incorporate regular and appropriate consultation with steering committees, oversight groups, executive leadership, sponsors, product manager/leaders, business, and other stakeholders to validate change initiative’s success viability, and sustainability
Partner with stakeholders and peers to develop Board and OpCo materials, business reviews and strategic plans
Develop and consolidate view on complex business and risk topics
Manage, track and report on impact metrics
Present to executive leadership on findings
Partner with LOBs and functions to address critical strategic issues
Identify opportunities and strategies for improvement (e.g., processes, risk)
Support complex initiatives with broad impact and act as key participant in large scale planning
Review and analyze complex larger-scale challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
7+ years of experience working within the Financial Services Industry
3-5+ years of experience in consulting, risk, compliance, business and/or operations roles
Experience at a Big 4 or other Management Consulting Top Tier Firm
Experience in supporting cross-organizational strategic initiatives, transformation initiatives, and/or change management initiatives at a large bank with the ability to drive change in a consistent and well aligned manner
Strong Change Management / Program Management expertise
Experienced and trusted advisor to LOB stakeholders able to contribute independent perspective and anticipate their needs
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic initiatives
Intermediate knowledge and understanding of research and analysis: gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
