Job Summary: This role works directly with external customers to resolve issues in live production environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work with customers and internal teams to provide top-level systems support focused on improving hardware and system performance, as well as overall customer satisfaction. Candidates will be measured by their ability to resolve complex hardware and software issues for our customer base. Candidates will achieve these objectives through a combination of hands-on involvement with customers and internal technical teams.

Schedule: Generally, Monday through Friday 11pm - 7:30am, hours may vary. This role is on a hybrid work schedule; mix of remote and in office. Regular and punctual attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

Reporting Relationship: Manager, Systems Administration

Scope of the Role:

Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair ScriptPro Infrastructure including hardware, computer peripherals, applications, networking and configurations

Completes remote software configurations and upgrade support

Test, and restore system data backups

Support and maintain complex systems, procedures, and database performance

Conducts technical analysis and review of system performance tuning accordingly

Initiate and perform disaster recovery procedures

Assess the health of servers making the correct recommendations for preventative replacement, tuning accordingly, and performing backup and recovery duties

Completes triage activities and troubleshoots most complex problems Server OS administration and support for physical and virtual servers

Provides support for Windows Server update Service and custom deploy package

Provides support for Windows Server update Service and custom deploy package

Performs disaster recovery simulations as part of Customers Business Continuity Planning

Participates in on-call support phone rotation

Drives continuous improvement in product quality, customer acceptance and cost by working with Managers, Field Operations and Engineering to identify issues driving a high Service Level Metrics

Completes job functions ticket documentation and tracking using Siebel with a high level of data quality

Conduct meetings with customers to discuss service performance, customer satisfaction and problem resolution

Support network infrastructure including configurations and hardware for connectivity.

Support remote access connectivity to/from customer systems

Support Wireless (802.11) networks for customer systems

Work with customers to resolve networking problems

Any other responsibilities assigned by management

Education and Experience Requirements:

Associates degree in an engineering or technology related field, or Bachelors degree, or equivalent 2 years of related experience

Role specific IT Certifications (Software Development, MS Support, Network, etc.)

Experience using an SQL query analyzer to debug and troubleshoot database problems

Basic SQL Server 2000/2008/2012/MDSE administration skills

Advanced Windows OS Knowledge (XP/Win 7/8)

Working knowledge of desktop and peripheral troubleshooting

Working knowledge with relational databases and client-server concepts

Working knowledge of DNS, VPN connectivity and networking concepts

Experience with a remote support tool (PCAnywhere, BOMGAR, or Windows Remote Desktop, etc.)

Demonstrated ability to work independently to set and prioritize work with a high level of details

General knowledge of industry best practices and technologies

Demonstrated familiarity with a ticketing or service desk software application and SLA driven resolution times

Demonstrate proficiency supporting proprietary software applicatio s

Ability to maintain internet connectivity to provide remote support

Potential to obtain security clearance

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

Experience managing CISCO firewalls and routers (881, 5505, 5506+)

Knowledge of the healthcare industry and/or medical insurance billing

Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry with emphasis in outpatient pharmacy practice

Fundamental IT Certification (A+, MCITP Windows OS, Network +, etc)

Multilingual skills in Spanish, Arabic, French

Working Conditions:

This position operates in an office environment. Routine use of standard office equipment is required. Must be able to use a computer for extended periods of time. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and expected to occasionally lift, stoop, bend and reach. Ability to learn and solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions is required.
