Hiring Mechanical Assembler
20-23/HR 1st Shift
Job Description
Mechanical assemblers will be upfitting, making custom-built trucks, and repairing hydraulics, electrical wiring, custom-built rear ends, and custom-built beds for trucks. These trucks will be going on the train tracks, so candidates need to be highly mechanical as most of the custom builds/assembly is done by interpreting blueprints and schematics. Must own their own tools. A detailed list is available if needed, but candidates don't need to have everything on the list as long as they have the majority and continue to invest in their tools during their contract. (Sockets, Torx sockets, universal joints, toolbox or roller cart, test/work light, 1/2 inch air impact (or battery-powered) wrench, 3/8 inch air impact (or battery-powered) wrench, screwdrivers, etc.)

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in NA, Kansas.
Work Environment
Working in a garage-type setting similar to a local Jiffy Lube or mechanic shop but with huge semi-tractors and Ford F-550s. Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm (may need to stay an hour after the shift to finish up). Ramp season will be in Q2, so additional hours may be required.
