Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Technician to join our team. While one year of experience in a production environment is preferred, we are willing to provide training to the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, have experience with hand tools, power tools, and compressed air tools, and be able to follow instructions while working with minimal supervision at times. A good attendance record and a passion for working safely are essential. The ability to work well in a team environment is also crucial.
Responsibilities
Work with concrete forms, rebar, and concrete finishing.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and compressed air tools.
Read and interpret tape measures and blueprints.
Perform carpentry and woodwork tasks.
Place concrete and tie rebar.
Set forms and pour concrete.
Operate stingers and vibrators.
Engage in manual labor and physical work.
Essential Skills
Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints.
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and compressed air tools.
Experience in concrete finishing and working with concrete forms.
Carpentry and woodwork skills.
Ability to place concrete and tie rebar.
Experience in setting forms and pouring concrete.
Ability to operate stingers and vibrators.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
One year of experience in a production environment is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good attendance record.
Passion for working in a safe manner.
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newton, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
