NMC Healths Information Technology (IT) department is responsible for ongoing support and maintenance of the infrastructure and applications which support the hospitals institutions, along with implementation of new services and applications that are used to support and further the mission of patient care.The Systems Engineer (SE) is a member of the NMCH IT Engineering team and is responsible for, as business needs dictate, managing and coordinating the efforts between users of IT applications, systems, and networks. The SEs key functional areas are Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), network printers/print servers, cyber security systems, data communications and telecommunications/VoIP systems. The SE accomplishes these goals/objectives by collaborating, planning, organizing, ensuring proper computer operation and managing/monitoring the performance of systems. There is a focus on optimizing end-user computing experiences and ensuring the performance and security of systems. This position reports to the Network Architect. This position is salaried, exempt.
