Job Title: MIG Welder
Job Description
We are seeking experienced MIG Welders to join our team in the production of specialist products within the agriculture industry, including treadmill exercise parts. This role involves production welding, but it is not super fast-paced. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on a variety of specialist products
Read and interpret blueprints to execute welding tasks accurately
Ensure high-quality welds by following established welding procedures
Participate in the fabrication of components as needed
Conduct basic weld tests to ensure proficiency
Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets
Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of experience in MIG welding
Proficiency in welding and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Experience in a production environment
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in the agriculture industry is a plus
Ability to work overtime, including Fridays and Saturdays

Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing environment where you will be working with the latest welding technologies. Shift hours are from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday, with overtime opportunities on Fridays and Saturdays. The dress code is appropriate for a manufacturing setting, and the facility is equipped to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NEWTON, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00/hr.
