Description
Robert Half is looking for 3 thorough and meticulous Accounting Clerks to join one of our industry-leading Agriculture client's team. This Accounting Clerk will be responsible for a variety of financial tasks including invoicing, financial statement reporting, foreign currency accounting, fixed assets accounting, general ledger management, manual journal entries, and other related accounting activities. The successful candidate should be a multi-tasker, possess excellent communication skills, and have a solid understanding of US GAAP. The Accounting Clerk opening is an onsite role in the Olathe, KS area.
Responsibilities:
Paying farmer invoices daily
Undertake foreign currency accounting tasks
Handle fixed assets general ledger activities
Prepare and process manual journal entries
Liaise with our CBS team in Bangalore and ensure information is properly processed
Assist with financial statement reporting
Manage multiple priorities efficiently
Demonstrate flexibility and ability to deal with ambiguity
Develop trust with multiple stakeholder groups
Requirements
Strong understanding of the principles and practices of US GAAP
Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Willing to train on JD Edwards system
Experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required
