We welcome you to join the Echocardiography Team as a Cardiac Sonographer . Cardiac Sonographers at Olathe Medical Center enjoy state of the art equipment including 4D imaging along with digital image and report storage. Sonographers are responsible for Stress Echo, Adult and Neonatal Transthoracic Echo, Transesophageal Echo, and Intra-Operative TEE imaging. He/she will practice within the boundaries of the applicable license/registry or certification he/she possesses as well as the organizational departmental policies and procedures.
Other: Completion of an accredited Echocardiography Program. Minimum
New graduates will be considered. Minimum
1 - 3 Years Preferred
Neonatal Transthoracic Echo within 180 days. (Minimum proficiency)
Healthcare Provider CPR – (American Heart Association or American Red Cross ONLY) Minimum Upon Hire
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) Certification or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) Minimum 120 Days
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
Facilitates patient care per department specific standards as demonstrated by proficient computer utilization.
Demonstrates accountability for performance and daily interactions.
Maintains a high level of accuracy and quality with great attention to detail.
Demonstrates multi-tasking abilities.
Utilizes work time efficiently to maximize productivity.
