Job Description
The E-bike Technician Lead primary responsibilities include building, tuning, troubleshooting, and maintaining e-bikes at our Olathe Distribution Center, in Kansas. The bicycle mechanic lead is an integral part of the QuietKat team as we need our e-bikes in top mechanical condition for our customers and sales teams. The E-Bike Technician Lead reports directly to the Quiet Kat Supervisor and is expected to be proactive and able to manage his or her time and responsibilities while performing at a high level.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair bikes to QuietKat standards.
· Promptly prepare bikes per company deadlines.
· Maintain accurate and detailed records of work completed.
· Take notes/pictures of all the work done on bikes & update database.
· Maintain inventory of the bike mechanic shop.
· Perform quality control and testing.
· Keep the bench/workstation and the workshop clean.
· Highly customer service oriented.
· Assist in other warehouse duties when required.
· Manage and assigned duties to bike technicians.
· Maintain an accurate status of bikes in repair.
Requirements/Qualifications
· 3+ years bike/e-bike repair experience preferred.
· Must be able to shift priorities based on direction & company needs.
· Versatility is necessary to troubleshoot emerging issues and circumstances.
· Highly organized.
· Excellent communications skills.
· Self-disciplined; adherence to processes and SOPs.
· Must be dependable & reliable, punctual & complete expected duties daily.
· Possess basic troubleshooting skills, must be able to analyze problems & determine what needs to be done with minimal supervision or direction.
· Basic computer proficiency skills: MS Office and NetSuite experience a plus.
Pay Range:
$21.73 - $30.58
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
