Job Title: HR Manager

Job Description

Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, BG checks, hiring, and onboarding. Ensure all job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations. Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities. Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keep the strategy up to date and report on it annually to the President and Controller. Investigate employee issues and conflicts and bring them to resolution. Facilitate employee performance improvement plans as needed. Stay informed and ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations. Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to the team. Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory. Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives. Update existing and create new HR systems and processes. Assist department directors with employee annual performance and salary reviews. Provide support and guidance to HR staff. Analyze trends in compensation and benefits. Design and implement employee retention strategies. Distribute Employee Handbook updates and annual policies to employees.

Hard Skills

  • Experience with payroll systems (they use Paycor)

  • Proficient in Excel and using it for data analysis

Soft Skills

  • Develop recruitment strategies

  • Implement systems for managing staff benefits

  • Support culture and onboarding new employees

  • Provide guidance and feedback

  • Investigate and resolve employee issues

  • Facilitate performance improvement plans

  • Design and implement retention strategies

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Olathe, Kansas.

Work Environment

On site Monday - Friday at their office in Olathe, KS.
