Injection Molding Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate - $28/hr. - $34/hr.+ (1st shift position)

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our 1st shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all production and support equipment, including hydraulic and electric injection molding machines, are operational and maintained on a regular basis. You will also help train operators and technicians on the safe operation of all equipment and will play a key role in preventive and predictive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety requirements and procedures, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout).

• Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Troubleshoot, adjust, and repair existing production equipment.

• Install new equipment and train personnel on its use.

• Maintain and repair plant facilities and grounds, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

• Purchase maintenance supplies and repair parts as needed, with approval.

• Assist with weekly startup and shutdown procedures.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs for new equipment.

• Log all maintenance activities and communicate necessary information to other departments.

• Follow all GMP/HACCP food safety work requirements.

Work Environment

Non-climate controlled manufacturing facility

Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm OR 7am - 3:30pm. Candidate gets to choose their start time.
