POSITION SUMMARY

The IT Manager is responsible for assessing and implementing the practices, processes, and tools that enable company-wide high-performance engineering, manufacturing, and business operations. The IT Manager is a direct technical contributor who manages the local IT staff and is responsible for developing and executing the strategy as well as day to day operations for IT and Cyber Security. The IT Manager must be proficient in modern network and systems administration, cybersecurity, computer systems, physical security, and phone systems.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVES

  • Responsible for overall IT system, to include physical and cyber security, network architecture and operations, asset management, hardware and software.
  • Responsible for preventive maintenance, analysis of system faults, troubleshooting, and running diagnostic tests on operating system and hardware to detect problems as well as be capable of repairing system/environment problems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES

  • Supervise local IT and Cyber Security team.
  • Manage and implement CMMC compliance, NIST SP 800-171, STIG configurations, and other US government cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Coordinate equipment repairs with vendors.
  • Respond to incoming IT requests via walk-ups, phone, or email.
  • Develop and document process and procedures for IT and end users.
  • Responsible for securing Windows server and system administration to include imaging, maintaining, troubleshooting, patching, and repairing environments.
  • Support network connectivity and troubleshooting.
  • Implement, troubleshoot, and maintain Active Directory Group Policy.
  • Serve as liaison with Air T IT department.
  • Develop policies and procedures for IT Staff and end users.
  • Develop training for IT Staff and end users.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Science, Technology, or Computer related fields. Other degrees may be considered in lieu of relevant experience.
  • 8 years of experience in IT and at least 2 years of experience leading collaborative teams.

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and maintain composure and good working relationships under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills with experience in issue tracking and resolution methods.
  • Experience with MS Office 365 applications and tools from an IT implementation and maintenance perspective.
  • Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining client and server operating systems, computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Experience with NIST SP 800-171 cybersecurity framework.
  • Experience with CMMC.
  • Experience with administration of server-based networked systems, network storage, firewalls, and switches.
  • Experience working in and supporting ERP system(s), including implementation.
  • Experience with IT budget planning and monitoring.
