Job Title: Machine Operator-CAN START ASAP!!!
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent Machine Operator to join our team. The role is on 1st Shift (6AM - 330pm) The ideal candidate will have general fabrication skills and at least 1 year of machine shop experience. The primary task in this role will be operating the plasma cutting machine, which includes uploading code and pressing the button for the machine to run. Although actual plasma cutting is not a part of the job, understanding the process and its application on materials like steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, and copper is crucial.
Hard Skills
General fabrication skills
1-2 years of machine shop experience.
Mill & Lathe experience is a Plus
Ability to operate plasma cutting machine
Soft Skills
Adaptability to shift timings
Ability to learn new processes
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in OLATHE, Kansas.
Work Environment
The work environment is a fabrication shop. As a Machine Operator, your role will be to upload code into the machine and run it. Direct fabrication or welding isn't a part of your role, hence, there is no need for a hood or gloves.
