Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift to assist in maintaining an industrial laundry facility. Your role will involve repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment, systems, and components including washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers. You will also perform preventive and predictive maintenance, resolve safety concerns, perform housekeeping duties indoors and outdoors, monitor inventory supplies, and maintain detailed maintenance records.
Responsibilities
Assist with repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.
Resolve safety concerns promptly and effectively.
Perform indoor and outdoor housekeeping tasks.
Monitor and manage inventory supplies.
Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment in an industrial environment or in the military.
Ability to read maintenance literature printed in English.
Experience with and ability to read blueprints.
Basic Microsoft Office computer skills.
Ability to stand for up to 7 hours in an 8-hour shift.
High School Diploma or GED.
Knowledge of boiler operations.
Electrical troubleshooting skills.
Mechanical skills.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
HVAC experience preferred.
Experience and ability to perform welding activities including MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, and brazing (preferred but not required).
Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.
Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures.
Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Work Environment
Our facility receives dirty towels, mats, and uniforms from industrial companies and hospitals. The maintenance team primarily services and repairs industrial washers and dryers, and also works on boilers, conveyors, and other equipment. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and safety is paramount. The 2nd shift operates from Sunday 8pm to 4:30am and Monday to Thursday 9pm to 5:30am, averaging 40-44 hours per week.

This is a Permanent position based out of Olathe, Kansas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $64480.00
401K and opportunity to grow from within. PTO starts after probation period. Will be hired on directly so get all perks asap
