We are looking for a full time Manager Global Sales & Operations Planning at our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. As the Manager Global Sales & Operations Planning you will be responsible for the global sales and operations planning (S&OP) process which includes all supply and demand activities throughout the product life-cycle for Consumer products. Lead a team for one business segment across functional areas or one functional area across business segments. Drive strategic alignment with all business areas including, Engineering, Sales, Finance, Product Support, Quality, and others as required.Other essential functions include: Manage a team responsible for the Global Supply Chain functions throughout the entire product life-cycle.Manage Supply/Demand Allocations Develop and monitor metrics associated with Forecast Accuracy, New Product Launch performance, Supply Availability, Inventory performance and other areas as requiredReport Operations Performance monthly or as required in the Executive Forecast Review Meeting and Consumer Segment Board MeetingsEstablish department goals and metrics and participate in internal and external audits as requiredEstablish best practices and lead process improvement initiatives for assigned areaCreate, document and oversee any changes to business process for assigned areaDirectly supervise team members with daily observation, assuring appropriate attendance, and providing assistance to team members.Work with Human Resources to address employee relations issues as needed including writing and conducting annual performance evaluations.Interview, hire and train associatesOversee training and mentoring of new associatesOther Responsibilities:Establish Global Growth/Decline percentages at Org/Market Level with Segments Drive processes and reporting that identify trends that deviate from expectations (up or down) and drive reconciliation processDevelop and Communicate New Product forecast launch expectations to all major forecasting orgs:Americas, EMEA, Australasia; Other regions as requiredDevelop and maintain metrics to measure performance and impact of New Product launches by regionCreate and Monitor Demand Planning metrics in support of S&OP Department KPI’sCommunicate expected growth/decline impact of new products to existing products to internal stake holdersWork with Sales to develop 13 month rolling Segment forecast for AmericasMonitor, reconcile and report on Americas Growth/Decline percentagesLife-cycle management – manage forecast revisions in support of anticipated launch/phase out of productsMarket Trend Analysis – understand, investigate and report market trends that are impacting or could impact forecast performanceCommunicate forecast performance as necessary to support S&OP department KPI’sMonitor and reconcile worldwide alignment of forecast to PAD Dates Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Engineering or Supply Chain Management or a substantially similar supply chain or operations related field. Other requirements include:Must possess a minimum of five years in supply chain management, forecasting, demand planning, or inventory management experienceMust possess a minimum of five years demonstrated leadership experienceMust demonstrate proficient project management experience including large scale change management with ability to handle large scale change initiativesDemonstrated Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) knowledgeDemonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint and ExcelDemonstrated project management experienceMust demonstrate effective and strong verbal and written communication skillsCandidates with 5 years supply chain, inventory management, new product introduction, forecasting demand planning, 5 years working in a global sales and distribution environment, planning or purchasing experience, Certification by APICS or IBF, and Oracle, Demantra or OBIEE experience are preferred.Our benefits, designed to lead an evolving marketplace, support innovation and encourage a healthy balance between work and life, keep us competitive and allow our associates to make their own decisions about their well-being and future.
