TEKsystems Mechanical Road Assist Coordinator in Olathe, Kansas
Description:
The Road Assist Trainee/Coordinator emphasizes duties and responsibilities in Road Assist. This hands-on training will focus on development of a range of skills including knowledge of company equipment, operations, management, trouble-shooting, equipment diagnostics and repairs. As our trainees progress they're empowered to function in the Road Assist Coordinator role with minimal guidance.
Job Responsibilities:
• Learning operating and repair details on standard company equipment, including tractors, trailers, reefer units, and auxiliary power units
• Developing knowledge of company equipment, operations, management, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs
• Communicating with drivers remotely in order to assist with over-the-road breakdowns
• Discussing warranty coverages and negotiating service pricing with vendors
