Robert Half Medical Billing & Claims Representative in Olathe, Kansas
Description We are in search of a Medical Billing & Claims Representative to join our team based in Olathe, Kansas. As part of this role, you will handle various tasks related to medical billing, claims, and collections. You will also be tasked with operating Accounting Software Systems and familiarizing with Allscripts and Cerner Technologies. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Handle medical billing and claims processes meticulously
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for various financial operations
• Work with EHR SYSTEM for maintaining healthcare records
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR) operations, including Appeals and Authorizations
• Perform Benefit and Billing Functions as per the established guidelines
• Use Excel Formulas and Excel VBA for data management and reporting
• Maintain expertise in Microsoft Excel for efficient data handling and processing
• Understand and apply Basic Medical Terminology for accurate billing processes
• Manage Billing Collection and Billing Statements efficiently
• Participate in HealthCare Billing, Hospital Billing, and Insurance Billing tasks
• Handle Medicaid Billing, Medical Billing, and Medical Insurance Billing operations
• Manage Medicare Billing, Monthly Billing, and Patient Billing tasks effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required for efficient financial tracking.
• Familiarity with EHR SYSTEM for maintaining patient records and billing details.
• Competence in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) to ensure timely payments.
• Experience in Appeals process to manage disputes and rejections.
• Ability to handle Authorizations effectively for medical procedures and treatments.
• Understanding of Benefit Functions to help patients comprehend their insurance benefits.
• Knowledge of Billing Functions for accurate invoicing and collection.
• Proficiency in Excel Formulas and Excel VBA for efficient data management and analysis.
• Skilled in Microsoft Excel for maintaining and analyzing data.
• Basic understanding of Medical Terminology to accurately interpret medical records and diagnoses.
• Experience in Billing Collection to ensure timely payment of invoices.
• Ability to generate accurate Billing Statements for clients and patients.
• Experience in HealthCare Billing, Hospital Billing, Insurance Billing, and Patient Billing.
• Knowledge of Medicaid Billing, Medicare Billing, and Monthly Billing procedures.
• Proficiency in Medical Billing and Medical Insurance Billing to ensure correct invoicing according to medical procedures and insurance policies.
