Orizon Aerostructures Mgr, Machine & Facilities Maintenance in Olathe, Kansas

Description

  • monitor condition of property, facilities and equipment and identify maintenance needs

  • develop and implement schedule for regular maintenance and upkeep of property

  • develop, implement and monitor strategies for continuous improvement in equipment reliability and effectiveness

  • develop, implement and oversee the preventative maintenance process to ensure reliability and effectiveness

  • research and implement best practices for facility maintenance and repairs

  • apply knowledge of new technology and industry trends to improve maintenance processes

  • develop and implement audit program for mechanical systems

  • undertake corrective action resulting from system audits

  • assist in planning and monitoring of maintenance and capital improvement projects

  • schedule, assign tasks and duties to staff and oversee their work

  • performance manage maintenance staff including evaluation, training and development, coaching and feedback

  • ensure maintenance team's compliance with all relevant regulations, policies and procedures

  • establish and maintain safe work procedures and practices

  • monitor and maintain established quality standards for all processes

  • provide input into preparation of annual maintenance budget and prepare budget requests

  • monitor costs and expenses to meet budget goals and ensure optimal cost effectiveness

  • coordinate and administer vendor contracts

  • coordinate and manage support from external service providers

  • oversee inventory of parts and materials

  • provide regular reports on status of maintenance and repairs

  • ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and guidelines

  • Manage and own equipment effectiveness through the use of KPI's

  • Meet goals and objectives for machine uptime

  • Other duties as assigned
