The Patient Access Representative is typically the first point of contact for our patients and visitors and customer service skills are monitored for excellence. They are held accountable for obtaining correct patient demographic and insurance information to ensure proper reimbursement is made to the hospital. Financial communication with patients will be handled in a positive and professional manner.Position Requirements:Education: High School or GED required. 2 Year / Associate Degree preferredExperience: Previous Healthcare Experience preferredKnowledge, Skills:Ability to Multi Task and Prioritize, Effectively prioritize workload, Computer Systems, Efficient in computer navigation using laptop, scanners and desktops, Customer Relations,Medical Terminology, Operate Office Equipment: Printers, copiers, faxes, scanners, multiple telephone lines, Organizational Effective time management, Verbal Communication and Appropriate usage of all forms of communications required
