Aerotek Project Coordinator in Olathe, Kansas

Description:

The Project Coordinator will be responsible to support the Project Management department specifically focusing on the administrative tasks associated with the smaller projects. Specific duties will include working with the project manager in the setup of project costs, project schedules, contact information, certificate of insurance, and performance testing.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated, detail-oriented, team-oriented, and customer-focused with excellent communication skills.

Roles and responsibilities:

Set up projects (launch from QTC to SAP)

Set up project files

Follow up with sales/legal on any outstanding terms and conditions issues

Administer orders in the engineering data base

Manage SWO intake from field and ensure they are applied to correct T&M/Mix projects

Manage Billing Milestones

Manage F&E set requests and ensure F&E sets are delivered to appropriate people in a timely manner

Work with billing department to correct invoicing errors and ensure proper back up to invoicing is sent.

Work with project managers to develop Change Orders and backup information for change orders.

Back up contact to project managers for any field related issues that need attention.

Other duties as assigned

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Project

Finance experience preferred, especially in understanding basic contract terms

Previous experience in project coordinating or management.

Bachelors Degree required

Extensive cooling tower construction experience may be considered with Associate’s degree

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Engineering and Construction Management experience preferred

Experience with SAP and Lotus Notes is a plus

Project scheduling experience with Primavera is a plus

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level

Minimum Education

Bachelors or Extensive cooling tower construction experience may be considered with Associate’s degree
