Job Title: Superintendent Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead our wood frame multi-family residential projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong leadership skills to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all on-site activities for wood frame multi-family construction projects.
Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and local building codes.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other site personnel to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process.
Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.
Collaborate with project managers to align construction activities with project timelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Superintendent in wood frame multi-family construction.
In-depth knowledge of wood frame construction techniques and standards.
Proven ability to lead and manage large teams and multiple subcontractors.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
