The role you’ll contribute:
Perform administrative and patient care duties in the medical practice to support medical providers and nursing in the examination and treatment of clinic patients. As the first person the patient encounters, provide outstanding customer service skills. Ensures that the patient information is collected and that patients are aware of medical office healthcare financial and insurance coverage policies. Performs customer service functions in the medical office setting. Ensures highest level of customer service is provided to the patients and their families. Performs business office responsibilities. Responsible for scheduling patient appointments. Performs other clerical duties as needed. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
· Perform primary patient reception/registration functions including answering phones, greeting patients in professional manner. As the first person most patient meet – will be the AMBASSADOR for the office.
· Schedule patients. Greet & assist patients with completing registration forms
· Maintains a patient medical record. Utilizing computer system produce daily schedule to retrieve medical record for provider encounter.
· Responsible for accurately registering patients to be seen.
· Responsible for interviewing patients or their representative, for obtaining personal information or verifying information already on file, including emergency numbers and insurance information.
· Responsible for obtaining signatures on Office forms.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
· High School or GED
Preferred qualifications:
· 1 Years of Experience
