Senior Manager, Supply Chain Americas

Compensation Data

  • Base Salary: Starting @ $137- $145,000.00 per year

  • Eligible for Annual Bonus

  • Eligible for Annual Salary Review & potential increase

Purpose of the position

Senior Manager, Services Supply Chain leads the spare parts supply chain in the Americas region ensuring demand and material planning, inventory management, replenishment, warehouse operations, distribution, and reverse logistics processes perform successfully. The leader enables the success of the team of supply chain professionals, collaborates cross-functionally, and ensures strategic alignment while driving continuous improvement and lean mindset in the function.

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies and initiatives for the spare parts business to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction

  • Drive capital management to optimize inventory levels and cash flow while ensuring inventory carrying costs are minimized and spare parts availability meeting customer demand

  • Oversee material planning and procurement of spare parts from suppliers while ensuring that quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met

  • Work closely with service sales teams, customer support, product management, sourcing, finance, and global teams to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of spare parts on each phase of the product life cycle

  • Measure and improve supplier performance while developing relationships to ensure high levels of service and reliability

  • Develop and implement processes and solutions to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and policies related to spare parts

  • Collaborate with other functional areas to ensure alignment of supply chain strategies with business objectives

  • Develop and manage financials for spare parts supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to the supply chain team to ensure a high level of performance and continuous improvement

What you’ll need to succeed

Education:

  • Master's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics or a related field

Experience:

  • At least 10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably with a focus on spare parts operations, in a global manufacturing or distribution environment

Competencies:

  • Excellent time management skills, self-driven and highly organized individual

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing supply chain strategies and initiatives to achieve operational excellence and customer satisfaction

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers

  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams to achieve high levels of performance

  • Experience working with WMS, TMS, and other supply chain applications

  • Lead Six Sigma certification is an advantage

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage complex supply chain challenges

  • Fluent in English, Spanish and or Portuguese languages are an advantage
