Type of Position: Part-time Regular, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies depending on department needs, 25 hours per week

Pay Range: \$15.95-\$20.31 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Benefits Category: Part-time Benefits

Position Summary: Provide accounting support for Bookstore operations, including processing daily sales receipts and deposits, submitting vendor accounts payable invoices, and processing accounts receivable in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications: May assist less-experienced team members. Requires a High School Diploma and 3+ years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Associates Degree

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Balance daily sales with tenders and complete bank deposits and related paperwork.
  • Maintain the Bookstore vault room and till balances.
  • Process and submit invoices for payment, maintain vendor balances, and provide support for year-end accruals.
  • Assist with and support book buyback cash and reporting process.
  • Assist with year-end physical inventory.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Assist internal business partners with any customer service needs regarding accounts payable or receivables.
  • Handle all vendor correspondence via phone or email.
