Job Title: Lead Project Manager - Education Sector

Job Description

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Project Manager to handle complex educational projects. The successful candidate will develop detailed Work Plans, including schedules, budgets, and cartoon sets, to ensure project success. Responsibilities include coordinating all project efforts, both administrative and technical, to execute projects efficiently and cost-effectively. You will serve as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to client satisfaction. Additional duties involve managing client budgets, schedules, programs, project communications, documentation, office administrative tasks, and team assignments. You will also estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts for complex projects, while providing oversight and monitoring the work of less experienced project managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to handle complex educational projects of the largest magnitude

  • Develop project Work Plans (schedule, budget, cartoon set) for project success

  • Be responsible for the coordination of all project efforts, administrative and technical, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects

  • Serve as primary liaison contact with clients to bring projects to completion on schedule, within budget, and with maximum client satisfaction

  • Actively manage client budgets, schedules, and programs; project communications and documentation; office administrative tasks; and project team assignments

  • Estimates fees, determines scope of work, and prepares proposals and contracts on the most complex projects

  • Provides oversight and monitoring of work of less experienced project managers

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Licensed Architect

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Interior Design from a US accredited program

  • 8+ years project management experience- Not including internship/pre-graduate experience

  • Must be local

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
