Days 0700-1500
Evenings 1500-2300
Nights 2300-0700

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client's employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.
Armed Security Officer Requirements:
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED Required
Basic Computer skills
Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift
Must have great attention to detail
High level customer service
PSR evaluation required
1 Year Military, law enforcement or armed security experience OR 1.5 years of SOC/Dispatch experience
All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and background check

Typical Job Duties:
Access Control - Visitor Management for guests and service providers, including issuing guest badges and access cards as needed.
Monitoring Security Systems - Monitoring camera and access card systems as well as turnstile and vehicle gates.
Site Patrols - Patrols assigned site on foot or in vehicle which may include generator rooms, tech rooms etc.; checks for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized persons in and around the properties.
Daily Activity Reports - Daily officer activity paperwork, recording any activity completed by officer and badges that are issued.
Respond to any Medical/Fire call to ensure the safety of the individual and client property, Working directly with law enforcement, government staffing and the community as needed.
Complete work orders - As issues are found or reported, officers will make the correct notifications regarding work orders to have issues corrected or fixed.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.
