T-Mobile Business Process Manager in Overland Park, Kansas

The Financial Services Program Management & Operations teams within T-Mobile’s Finance Company (FinCo) create and manage financial services (FS) initiatives to ensure long- and short-term system stability and operational excellence. The Business Process Manager is a highly skilled and driven individual contributor with direct accountability for driving production issue resolution within the FS space effectively and efficiently. An ideal candidate is someone that enjoys learning something new every day, likes to create improve processes, and thrives on building relationships across all aspects of the business.

What you’ll do in your role.

  • Own and drive issues to resolution. Manage issue through entire lifecycle from root case identification through solutioning, implementation and closure.

  • Ensure remediation handling is executed correctly.

  • Perform and/or assist in root cause analysis that are typically technical in nature. Identify & drive ‘right fit’ proposed solutions to production issues in consultation with technical and business partners.

  • Perform impact analysis (customer experience or financial) that lead to actionable system remediation recommendations to management.

  • Proactively drive to resolution issues of diverse scope and complexity as a departmental expert and collaborate with cross-functional partners to mitigate issues and risks by planning/implementing solutions with a sense of urgency.

  • Foster relationships with key cross-functional partners and internal stakeholders; develop strong partnerships to obtain results on behalf of the department.

The experience you’ll bring.

  • 4-6 years relevant professional experience

  • Software Development Lifecycle experience (Agile preferred, SAFe, Waterfall ok)

  • 1-2 years Project Management experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Proficient in MS Visio, MS Excel and PowerPoint with strong presentation skills

  • Able to perform financial analysis to assess business impact

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present technical concepts in a simple way

  • Strengths in building large networks of internal contacts and leveraging positive working relationships to achieve business goals

  • 1-2 years SQL experience


  • Financial Services industry experience preferred

  • Experience in analytics and visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik


  • Bachelor’s Degree. MIS, Computer Science or equivalent

  • MBA or Master’s Degree

  • At least 18 years of age

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • T-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work. The CDC defines “fully vaccinated” as two weeks after the second dose for Pfizer and Moderna, and two weeks after the single dose of Johnson & Johnson.
