Description ## Summary: The Infrastructure Support Engineer is responsible for providing desktop-level support to end-users. ## Primary Responsibilities: This Job Description may not include all of the duties assigned to the employee and may be updated and modified by the department supervisor, according to the operational dynamics and needs of the company.Specific responsibilities include: * Answer corporate-related support requests by email/ticketing system, phone and in-person. * Configure user accounts (create, modify and remove) within Active Directory, commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and custom applications (training provided). * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with personal computer hardware, software, networking, printing and internet connectivity. * Support Microsoft Office products (2010-2016, Office 365). * Provision and deploy computer equipment (e.g. laptops, desktops, thin clients, tablets etc.) for office and field users. * Assist in the implementation of infrastructure-related projects as needed. * Assist with management of IT asset and supply inventory. * Thoroughly document issues, actions taken, and the resolution using a web-based ticketing system. * Other duties as assigned. # Qualifications ## Job Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Working knowledge of and ability to support Microsoft Windows operating systems (7-10) and Microsoft Office products (2010-2016, Office 365). * Working knowledge of and ability to support computer hardware such as laptop and desktop computers, thin clients, docking stations, monitors and peripherals. * Working knowledge and ability to support browser applications, such as Internet Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. * Basic knowledge of computer networking, IP addressing and internet connectivity. * Solid written and oral communication skills required. * Solid interpersonal and team skills required. * Be available to carry the on-call phone on rotation to provide after-hours support. * High school diploma or GED required, computer science-related undergraduate degree or equivalent certification (e.g. CompTIA A+) preferred. * 2-3 years prior Help Desk experience preferred. ## Supervisory Responsibilities: None. ## Typical Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
