Actalent Certified Medical Assistant - College Park in Overland Park, Kansas
The Medical Assistant will work to assist the providers with patient appointments in either specialty or family practice physician's clinic. Responsibilities will include: taking patient vitals, entering medical history, cleaning and stocking exam rooms, and preparing patient charts for providers on clinic days. Medical assistants are also responsible for scanning all patient documents to charts, scheduling radiology testing, and obtaining all necessary records and films for providers to review at appointments.

Must haves Certified Medical Assistant Minimum 6 months of experience working in a physician's clinic rooming patients and taking vitals Strong knowledge of medical terminology Patient first mentality Eager to learn and grow Must be incredibly reliable Preferred 1 year of experience as a medical assistant in a physician's clinic Prefer experience with EMR systems. This clinic uses eCW (eClinicalWorks) for their EMR Ideally will have prior experience working in a surgery clinic to understand the importance and type of questioning necessary to obtain the appropriate medical history
