    POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Operations manager, the Construction Security Sales Consultant determines, generates, and captures the sales outside the organization as well as a wide range of marketing processes and projects.

    DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The Construction Security Sales Consultant may be responsible for the following:

  • Effective planning to conduct sales presentations by meeting customers physically.

  • Design professional demonstrations or presentations of company products or services while on-site.

  • A liaison between the company and the customers for up-to-date condition on pricing, service, and latest product release launches.

  • Generate and develop non-client business accounts to increase revenue through cold-calling and other avenues.

  • Continuously update all customers on company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.

  • Enhance up-to-date knowledge on new products, procedures, services, and tools by attending department and training meetings.

  • Maintain professionalism, diplomacy, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner.

  • Effectively attend conferences and trade shows.

  • Use marketing data to maximize sales effectiveness / efficiency by using relevant sales management tools.

  • Organizing joint sales calls and attending them with vendors.

  • Prepare reports for sales and marketing and maintaining expense accounts.

  • Update and maintain accounts of clients, including contact information for future sales.

  • Provide product quotes to clients as needed.

  • Ensure follow-up after transferring leads to managers with complete profile customer information, calls-to-action, sources, and dates.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree in business, sales and/or organizational development preferred.

  • Broad and working knowledge of current sales and marketing procedures, practices, tools, equipment, as well as company policies and procedures and administrative functions of all aspects of the company.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with staff, clients and the public, ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures, ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance, ability to write and investigate required reports; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures; ability to maintain high level of confidentiality.

  • Must be able to use tools and equipment required.

  • Excellent moral character and clean background free from excessive misdemeanors, traffic offenses, or any felonies, as well as positive record with creditors and prior employers.
