Type of Position: Part-time Regular, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: varies, 25 hours per week

Pay Range: \$22.65 - \$29.31 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: The Coordinator - Development works directly with the Program Director - Development on the design and implementation of a comprehensive plan for internal, campus fundraising and community engagement strategies. The position is responsible for building internal relationships with faculty and staff, understanding their fundraising needs, and executing best practice strategies to support those goals. The Coordinator -Development manages all activities related to internal fundraising including planning, developing and implementing these strategic initiatives for new and existing revenue and cultivation opportunities, including campus fundraising events, payroll deduction campaigns, and other marketing/communications strategies with support from the Program Director - Development.

In addition, this position will support new and existing events such as Some Enchanted Evening and Sips and Scholarships (new).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business development or other related area.
  • Three years related business experience.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with constituents to maximize relationships into successful fundraising.
  • Ability to work well as a member of a professional team of administrators and support staff working under conditions of detail, precision, and quality on a constant basis.
  • Social Media experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and database software required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher Education experience.
  • Knowledge of Blackbaud Raiser\'s Edge and Financial Edge.
