Community Reinvestment Act Officer / Compliance Analyst I
Farmers Bank & Trust in Kansas City is seeking a full-time CRA Officer/Compliance Analyst to
join our team. This dual-role position is responsible for developing and implementing programs
to ensure the bank meets Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) compliance goals and
community needs, while also assessing the banks policies, procedures, and processes for
adherence to regulatory and operational requirements.
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Stays abreast of changes to Federal and State banking laws and regulations, particularly to those
related to lending and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
2. Researches compliance related information and responds to questions timely.
3. Performs scheduled regulatory compliance monitoring and/or internal audits in a timely and
accurate manner and provides reports to management as needed.
4. Completes workpapers timely and provides to the Risk Director for review.
5. Reviews banking policies and procedures as needed and makes recommendations for change
due to enhancements and/or regulatory issues.
6. Performs analysis, benchmarking and reporting related to the Community Reinvestment Act.
7. May assist with reporting and governance duties related to compliance.
8. Serves as backup for marketing reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
9. Assists the Risk Director in the day-to-day oversight of compliance and risk management
efforts.
10. Follows regulatory requirements by protecting information for privacy and confidentiality;
displaying discretion in discussing customer information; obtaining proper information and
following bank policies and regulations.
Requirements include the following: Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or
related field; or min. 4 years banking or related experience. Ability to have a thorough knowledge
and understanding of multiple banking regulations.
