Customer Service EntryLevel

Our client, a leader in the insurance industry, is now hiring a motivated and positive customer service underwriting professional to work in their local office. The Customer Support Specialist works with the customers and Insurance agents to establish new customer relationships and enhance and maintain current customer relationships.

The successful candidate will be an energetic, self-motivated, detail oriented, dependable, extroverted self-starter who is determined to succeed and help the Company to continue to grow and grow our customer business.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities for the Customer Support Specialist will include:

Establish lasting relationships with customers and retain existing and new customers within their region.

Providing information regarding required and missing documentation and next steps in the claims process to insurance agents

Answering 30-70 calls in a fast paced environment, explaining rules of the insurance program, how to use the system, etc.

Managing coverage changes and cancellations

Answering questions about policy renewals & endorsements

Provide high quality service to customers and solve customer issues in a timely manner

Maintain customer data including contact information, product information, and demographic information using Excel spread sheets and other databases

Represent the Company with integrity and distinguished customer service.

Meet administrative standards for reporting and other standards

Working hours: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM


Job Requirements:

The Customer Support Specialist will require a motivated personality with a demonstrated ability to provide consultative service and enhance the customer experience.

--Minimum of 2 years of experience in business customer service

--Proficient in establishing and maintaining customer relationships

--Ability to work in a fast-paced and self-directed environment

--Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

--Outstanding organization and attention to detail

--A Strong work ethic and above average attendance record

--Expert skills in MS Excel and Outlook and the ability to quickly learn and use other software

--Ability to comprehend pricing and marketing strategies

--Insurance knowledge or experience is a plus

--This position will work Mon - Fri from 10am - 7pm, this is a hard stop and there will NOT be an option upon being hired to adjust this schedule.
