MarketPoint, organization responsible for the sales distribution of Humana's Insurance Products, is currently seeking a Director of Product Management. This role leads all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace, by developing products to meet specific customer needs and achieve specific business outcomes. Once products are launched, monitors efficacy of products and uses customer and business partner feedback to adjust products over time to continue to achieve desired outcomes. This role will be responsible for a suite of technology products that enables exceptional experiences for telephonic and field sales agents, and ultimately Humana prospects & members.

Responsibilities

The Director could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates. This position is fully remote within any of the lower 48 states.

What you can expect in the Director role for Product Management at Humana:

  • Employs empathy and design thinking to define scalable product solutions by deep knowledge of internal and external consumer/agent habits

  • Leverages various research methods to identify pain points and improvement opportunities

  • Encourages adaptability informed by emerging solutions, industry trends and changing consumer/agent needs

  • Conducts various test & learns for new and emerging technology to determine strategic business value

  • Develops product strategy and roadmaps, informed by consumer/agent and business needs, partnering with stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment

  • Leads cross functional teams to define, develop and deliver differentiated technology enabled experiences that drive business outcomes

  • Aligns product priorities and dependencies across multiple product suites and portfolios

  • Demonstrates a strong agile discipline while inspiring teams to continuously focus on iterative value delivery, proven by key agile metrics

  • Collaborates with architecture & technology partners to influence end state architecture that drive secure, resilient, and scalable technology solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or equivalent professional experience

  • 8+ years of experience as a product manager with proven delivery of business value through technology products

  • 5+ years of people leadership experience

  • Highly effective communication skills to include written/visual (i.e. PowerPoint, MIRO, etc.), meeting facilitation, and presenting a narrative/story to various audiences

  • Demonstrated ability to partner with senior leadership and business/technical stakeholders to drive alignment and influence high impact decisions, enabling meaningful experience changes for consumers/agents

  • Experience successfully leading highly matrixed teams and executing large scale initiatives

  • Strong analytic, organization and problem-solving skills enabling sound decision making

Preferred Requirements

  • Work experience in the healthcare and/or insurance industries

  • Experience developing and delivering agent facing technology products to include contact center capabilities (quote & enroll technology, agent desktop/portal, A.I., CRM, etc.)

  • Experience developing/delivering solutions through the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

  • One or more SAFe certifications (Agilist, PM/PO, SPC, etc.)

  • Experience working with outside vendors and procuring/managing those relationships

  • Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

  • Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information
