Summary:

The EIM Manager of Information Architecture supports the EIM organization in the office of the CDO at Honeywell FM&T. This role works across diverse business and functional areas to develop and drive business processes and information architecture for the enterprise. Leverage business aware information architecture to identify opportunities to improve reliable information delivery to accelerate digital transformation. Collaborate with other EIM functions - data governance and EIM solutions.

  • Develop strong understanding of the business, build and maintain a positive relationship across departments

  • Conduct business process deep-dive sessions with various departments to develop business information architecture that depicts business functions, upstream and downstream business processes, activities, information flow, critical data elements and cross functional relationships

  • Analyze and synthesize details gathered from business process deep-dives, work with solutions team to identify current information gaps, challenges and improvement opportunities, prioritized by business value, present solution strategy to business stakeholders, track solution adoption and quantify the benefits

  • Analyze existing operational metrics and KPI process, make recommendations to standardize, increase trust and adoption

  • Work with data governance team to catalog information assets, develop governance standards, access management and security compliance

    You Must Have:

  • Accredited BA/BS Degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field

  • 7+ years of experience in business management, ISC, IT, operations, or related field

  • 3+ years-experience leading others including budget management is required

  • US citizenship in order to obtain US Dept. of Energy ""Q"" level security clearance

    We Value:

  • MBA or quantitative graduate degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems or related field

  • Certification in TOGAF

  • Experience in developing and implementing data quality and data governance standards.

  • Experience working in sensitive/classified data environments

  • Experience working with a US government contractor

  • Working knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, program management, and/or financial data operations

  • Strong organizational skills: managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

  • Hands-on experience with a business process and information architecture tool

  • Strong experience with one or more information architecture frameworks and information models

  • Expertise with enterprise-level data modeling and information classification

  • Good understanding of taxonomies and ontologies

  • Must have an extremely high level of attention to detail when analyzing business processes and information exchange details while not losing sight of the bigger strategic view

  • Ability to hire right talent, develop and motivate employees in a fast paced, integrated team environment

  • Project or product management experience with proven track record of delivering results on-time within scope, budget and quality

  • Technical and business acumen to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization

  • Sound knowledge of data platform, data warehouse, ETL concepts, semantic models and data virtualization

  • Strong oral and written communication skills for collaboration with diverse, cross-functional teams
