Job Summary

The Enterprise Evolution Intern will support our charter to unleash the full power of our strategy, client-centricity, innovation and sustainability focus, new business models, selling excellence and brand recognition to realize a fulfilling future as the disruptive thought leader in all things sustainable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Enterprise Evolution intern will engage directly with Enterprise Sales, Enterprise Marketing & Communications, Strategy, Innovation, M&A and Sustainability as part of the Enterprise Evolution organization.

  • Work directly and closely with the Chief Client Officer (CCO) and Chief of Staff (CoS) supporting the direct leadership and other business/functional stakeholders. Accelerating the synchronization of strategic deployment, resource productivity, program management and execution of the CCO’s deliverables impacting talent development, client-centricity and perpetual growth.

  • Support CCO communications (including routine newsletters, town halls and skip level meetings) in coordination with CoS.

  • Support CoS in projects to increase efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies by working with the CCO and other leaders on special projects particularly focused on our enterprise-wide ability to lead the client into tomorrow.

  • Participate in PMO and workstreams supporting the Client.

Experience (CXC) charter and the CXC Steering Committee facilitation.

  • Supports cadence on the review, insights and reporting of all the Enterprise.

Evolution KPIs and deliverables.

  • Ensures timely and effective completion of projects and initiatives owned and created by the CoS.

Research new and revised policies, employee experiences and Strategies to support Enterprise Evolution efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in accredited university in Computer Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field of study. No previous experience required. Work Environment/Physical Demands

Professionals located near a Black & Veatch office have the option of a hybrid work model that offers a balance between working together in person and the flexibility of remote work. Our hybrid work model means you will work three days in the office and two days from another location of your choice.
