Introduction to the team

The Finance Analyst is responsible for producing and reviewing the Firm’s and regional financial and operational reporting for the firm and regions, prepares various financial surveys. This individual will assist with the firm’s budgeting and forecasting process, perform variance and modeling analyses, and work closely with leadership on reporting and other projects.

  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual firm and regional financial and operational reporting at the firm and regional levels

  • Assist with preparation of planning and forecasts

  • Prepare proforma financial analysis, variance analysis, modeling, and key performance indicator reporting

  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot complex Excel financial models

  • Prepare and modify models for managers to assess the effectiveness of combinations and acquisitions

  • Compile various firm survey data for submission throughout the year

  • Assist with generating ad hoc report requests and custom queries

  • Document reporting processes and procedures and recommend process improvements

  • Prepare complex financial calculations as needed for firm and field finance

  • Contribute to firm improvement initiatives by providing analytics to leadership, participating in process improvement projects and champion positive change

  • Provide general support to the finance team on a variety of projects


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Finance or a related field preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of related experience required; experience in a professional services environment preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint); experience with automated accounting systems

  • Experience with financial report writing software (Cognos, PowerBI, BusinessObjects, Adaptive Insights, etc.)

  • Knowledge in technical research analysis and ability to understand problems, think critically, and identify creative solutions

  • Strong organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast paced environment while working independently

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop relationships, build rapport, and effectively interface with all levels within the firm

  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to producing accurate work in a timely manner

  • Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service

  • Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
