Work Schedule, Hours per week: varies, 12 hours per week

Pay Range: \$15.00 - \$18.20 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: Act as the first point of contact for patrons in the Johnson County Community College (JCCC) Fitness Center. Responsible for checking patrons in on the computer, answering general questions, and maintaining area cleanliness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Entry-level support role.
  • Performs routine tasks as directed and under close supervision.
  • Requires a High School Diploma and little to no related experience.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Greet and welcome patrons in the JCCC Fitness Center and answer phone calls.
  • Check patrons into the JCCC Fitness Center system and select the correct class if the patron is taking a Lifetime Fitness Class.
  • Clean and wipe down all touch points on machines, wash/dry and fold towels, change/empty trash bags in wipes canisters, and vacuum areas.
  • Answer phone calls in a helpful manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Provide prospective center guests with tours of the facility.
  • Maintain and update guest account information.
  • Work to ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience.
