PURPOSE:

We're looking for a passionate Business HR that wants to collaborate with the HR Team and Business Leaders at Hill's Division on strategic and local business and human resources priorities including talent management, employee engagement and organizational effectiveness (performance, organization design & capabilities and change management). Embracing and promoting our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Strategy and championing our organizational culture.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

  • Business Partnership: Be a trusted partner to key cross-functional divisions, working collaboratively across teams to design and deliver solutions that drive measurable business results.

  • HR Partnership: Collaborate as a member of the Division HR Team to drive the HR Strategy for Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Coordination and Partnership with the Hill’s US HR Team to implement strategies that impact employees in the US. Recommend solutions and best practices at the global and divisional levels.

  • Talent Management: Co-own all talent management (Career Development, Talent Planning, Performance Enablement) programs together with functional business leaders. Collaborate with Director HR, Hill’s Division in driving talent review and succession planning processes.

  • Learning and Development: Support functional business Leaders to identify current and projected leadership and functional capability gaps and partner with Learning CoHRE and Division Learning Partner to develop solutions. Collaborate with the CBS Learning team and play an active role in assessing the learning needs and execution of the learning plans for the Division team

  • Talent Acquisition: Partner with the Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards CoHREs, the CBS Recruitment Team, and hiring managers to support the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of staff.

  • Employee Relations: Coach and support leaders to create and maintain a positive employee relations work environment. Lead the Employee Engagement Survey roll out, be proactive to analyze the survey results and partner to come up with initiatives and solutions.

  • Total Rewards: Support the annual salary planning and merit forecasting process for the Division team; run reports to analyze execution; follow up with managers as needed.

  • Build culture of belonging: Ensure that our Diversity Equity and Inclusion Strategy is being implemented in all the HR Processes.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resource experience in:

  • leading and implementing HR initiatives and projects

  • a HR Generalist/HRBP role supporting Leadership Teams

  • navigating a large multinational organization at a corporate office

  • one or more HR Specialty Area (Compensation, Benefits, People Relations, People Development, Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, Analytics, Organization Development/Design)

  • Use ofSAP-HR and Success Factors systems

PREFERREED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master's degree

SUCCESS PROFILE

  • Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships, collaborate and influence stakeholders across the organization

  • Ability to drive the HR Strategy through various initiatives and effective communication skills

  • Strong and proven project management, presentation, and facilitation skills required

  • Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Excellent spoken & written communication (English) and problem solving skills

  • Ability to interpret and explain HR policies, laws and standards

  • Ability to address Employee Relations issues like interpersonal conflict, policy violations, or other employee concerns

  • Proven experience handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion

  • Experience building employee engagement across organizations

  • Highly organized, excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

  • Positive attitude and resilience in the approach to new challenges and setbacks

  • Proficient in using Google Suite and Excel

Compensation and Benefits

Salary Range $102,000.00 - $125,000.00 USD

Pay is based on multiple non-discriminatory, individualized factors including but not limited to experience, job-related knowledge and education, skills and office/market location. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing and, for Executive-level (salary grade 16 and above) roles only, long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options.

Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable benefits plans then in effect, all salaried employees are also eligible for a competitive benefits package which includes:

  • Insurance: Employees (and their eligible dependents) are eligible to participate in Company-sponsored Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life Insurance, Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Disability insurance plans.

  • Retirement Plans: Employees are eligible to enroll in Colgate's 401(k) plan, which provides for company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements

  • Vacation/PTO: Employees receive a minimum of 15 days of vacation/PTO leave annually

  • Paid Holidays: Employees receive a minimum of 13 paid/floating holidays annually

  • Paid Sick Leave: Based on location and consistent with applicable state and local law, employees receive a minimum of 40 hours of paid sick leave on January 1st of each year

  • Paid Parental Leave: Eligible employees may take up to eight weeks of paid parental leave and 12 weeks of unpaid leave (varies for employees with fewer than 12 months of service and is subject to hours worked requirements)
