Mission/Purpose of the Job

Primary customer contact position for the collection offorcedplaced collateral protection insurance premiums on Transport Funding loans.

This position reports to the TF VP/Portfolio Manager.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Initiating calls and letters to customers whose collateral is uninsured soliciting and arranging for prompt payment of premium amounts owing.

  • Negotiating acceptable repayment arrangements over time with customers to liquidate forced placed premiums.

  • Initiating calls to customers whose collateral is reported to be uninsured and arranging with customers or insurance agents for proof of insurance coverage.

  • Maintaining a record of all contacts in the customer's call history loan record.

  • Serves as licensed producing agent for Arrow, obtains premium quotes and binds coverage for retail customers in the branches.

Personal Profile

Essential Educational and/or Training Qualifications and Certificates: High School Diploma

Preferred Experience and Knowledge:

  • Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred.

  • Three year’s experience in retail property and casualty insurance agency operations.

  • PC proficient with high level experience of Microsoft Word.

  • Skilled in the use of loan management software programs.

  • Adept with numbers.
