Job SummaryManages the planning and direction of departmental financial or decision support projects and the supervision of staff. Oversees the efficient operation and cost-effectiveness of operating systems and programs. Monitors and evaluates project progress and results to determine improvements in procedures needed to meet ultimate objectives. Evaluates budget performance, expenditures, and operational effectiveness. May analyze and evaluate potential investments, potential acquisitions or divestitures, and other investments as they relate to organization objectives. Manages the activities of individual contributors or supervisors in a section or department with accountability for goals, objectives, and operational policies. May participate in the development of functional strategy. Has responsibility for hiring, termination, performance, and salary decisions.This position will own the whole Bad Debt and Loss on Lease forecasting and reporting responsibilities:Quarterly and Annual detailed Forecasting/Budget submissionsMonthly analysis and reporting of actuals variance to forecast resultsProvide holistic loss analysis and input for business casesOversee team of 4 analystsLead bad debt transformation team and all associated cost reduction responsibilitiesLoss rate reporting to provide guidance to accounting partnersReserve rate modeling for IB reserves and monthly Accounts Receivable riskOwner of Credit Risk team budgetBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree and eight years related work experience or twelve years related work experience post high schoolFive years finance work experienceThree years supervisory or management experience Preferred QualificationsAccounting background and experienceTeradata/SAS querying skillsAt Sprint, we're more than just talk.
