Type of Position: Part-time Regular, Non-Exempt

Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies, 25 hours per week

Pay Range: \$15.95 - \$20.31 and determined based on relevant years of work experience.

Position Summary: The Marketing Assistant provides support for the Workforce Development & Continuing Education (WDCE) Marketing department to produce efficient and effective promotions. Professionally communicates with all levels of staff, affiliates, clients, and vendors. The position is customer service focused while executing tasks, and processing and accurately tracking information using documents, spreadsheets, databases, and other technology resources available.

Required Qualifications:

  • One year of postsecondary education.
  • Two years of related experience.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, database and various other programs.
  • Commitment to accuracy; attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable exploring and learning new technology and college processes quickly.
  • Exercise good judgment and initiative.

Position Details: Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support for efficient and effective operations - Supports staff members in gathering information and data required for projects and maintaining digital and print files. Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and swag. Monitor and maintain WDCE promotional display areas across campus. Archive WDCE print materials and keep files organized.
  • Supports Marketing Functions Through the use of Various Systems Including ACT-ON, Banner, Xenegrade and Sugar CRM - Organize data and information thru databases, spreadsheets, and various other documents. Serve as central point of contact thru phone calls, students/clients, emails, etc. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive or privileged information.
  • Provide Customer Service - Provide support to internal and external stakeholders in a professional, timely and courteous manner.
