Under the general guidance of the radiologist and limited supervision of the Lead Nuclear Medicine technologist, technologist will:
- Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures
- Participate in Performance Improvement and Quality Control
- Work within the guidelines established in the policies and procedures manuals
- Comply with all radiation safety procedures
- Work in accordance with the NRC, State or other regulatory or accreditation agencies
Perform a variety of tasks to comply with the record keeping required by regulatory or accrediting agencies
High School graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor degree preferred.
- Current registry in good standing with at least one of the following credentialing agencies: o American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine o Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Current Kansas License or eligible, must have within 90 days of hire
- Must be certified in BCLS
- Minimum of one (1) year of work related experience in all aspects of Nuclear Medicine Technology, preferred
